This week I’m going to share a few of my favorite video podcast links. Feel free to visit, comment, ridicule, and laugh along with me.
These are four of my favorite video podcasts. A couple of them are kind of kooky but I love the succinct reporting and applicability of subject matter.
The first is from MIT’s Media Lab. I have had the great fortune to have a friend who studied and worked for the Media Lab and have visited it on a couple of occasions. The innovative ideas and inspired creations push me to think beyond what is and into what could be. Check out their podcast and get thinking! Second is CoolHunting. Fantastic podcast videos with inventors, creators, and innovators in the fields of design, media, education, and entertainment. I think this is a great resource for educators who may be looking for new info and inspiration for their classes. http://www.coolhunting.com/video/ (Also available on iTunes.)
Third and Fourth are my kookier choices. The first is called Put This On and is a video podcast for “men who want to dress like grownups.” Great information, humor, comments, and style tips. I’m a huge fan of men’s fashion and this podcast presents modern style with flair and wit. http://www.putthison.com (Also available on iTunes.)
Lastly, this is one of my sources for “daily Internet culture.” Rocketboom, located at http://www.rocketboom.com is funny, informative, opinionated, distracting and sometimes slightly inappropriate. Not for educational use, this is a great site to pick up Internet news, blips, and clips.
Have a great week!
