This week I’m going to share a few of my favorite video podcast links. Feel free to visit, comment, ridicule, and laugh along with me.
These are four of my favorite video podcasts. A couple of them are kind of kooky but I love the succinct reporting and applicability of subject matter.
The first is from MIT’s Media Lab. I have had the great fortune to have a friend who studied and worked for the Media Lab and have visited it on a couple of occasions. The innovative ideas and inspired creations push me to think beyond what is and into what could be. Check out their podcast and get thinking! LabCast: http://labcast.media.mit.edu (Also available on iTunes.)
Second is CoolHunting. Fantastic podcast videos with inventors, creators, and innovators in the fields of design, media, education, and entertainment. I think this is a great resource for educators who may be looking for new info and inspiration for their classes. http://www.coolhunting.com/video/ (Also available on iTunes.)
Third and Fourth are my kookier choices. The first is called Put This On and is a video podcast for “men who want to dress like grownups.” Great information, humor, comments, and style tips. I’m a huge fan of men’s fashion and this podcast presents modern style with flair and wit. http://www.putthison.com (Also available on iTunes.)
Lastly, this is one of my sources for “daily Internet culture.” Rocketboom, located at http://www.rocketboom.com is funny, informative, opinionated, distracting and sometimes slightly inappropriate. Not for educational use, this is a great site to pick up Internet news, blips, and clips.
Have a great week!
Hmm Put This On eh? Check. 🙂
