Check out the photo in this linked story. The ability to actually go out into the world and have an educational experience is why I think Augmented Reality will be disruptive to education.

The Museum of London has produced an iPhone app giving visitors the chance to explore the history of London’s most famous tourist spots using augmented reality.

When an individual visits one of these places and uses the iPhone’s camera to take in the view, the app superimposes a historical view of the landmark onto the present-day vista.
